Karen takes great pleasure in coaching all levels; from novice riders needing to build confidence and security, to the elite competitors competing at top level of dressage, eventing and show jumping, wanting to improve their biomechanics to help the horse perform at a higher level, giving them the edge on their competitors.
Each training session is taylor made to suit the riders individual requirements, taking into account their goals, learning styles and experience. Also the horses age, maturity and experience.

JUMPING
RWYM Biomechanics Jumping Clinic- 1-4 day Clinic; Improve your position in the saddle to enhance the horses’ way of going on the flat, to enable the horse to be more balanced, therefore jump in a bigger and better way.
Within this course you may want to include some or all of the following;
Gymnastic Jumping- whilst building up to a grid, focus on your position in the saddle to enhance the horses jumping ability.
Canter for jumping – By enhancing your biomechanics we can improve the horses canter, small, subtle changes in your body can help you control the canter in greater way.
Confidence when jumping – Whatever your goals are, we all need a confidence boost at some point; this clinic is to help you take that next step.
Jumping Courses – Improve your skills around a course of fences.
IN HAND TRAINING
Young Horse Clinic -Providing an opportunity to bring your young horse out to socialize in a controlled environment and learn some valuable skills to enhance your partnership and prepare him/her for adulthood.
Working The Horse From The Ground- 1-4 day clinic; Learn some valuable dismounted schooling techniques and skills to help your horse to improve his posture and way of going. Improve the clarity of communication between you and your horse. Alternatively, work on a specific issue that you and your horse may encounter
To include some of the following;
Preparation for adulthood – allow your young horse to socialize in a safe controlled environment, areas covered include; desensitizing, control and the steps toward riding.
Improving Confidence - Both horse and handler.
Trouble shooting – Advice and help with your challenges!
Alternatives to lunging- Learn some new ideas on how to work your horse from the ground.
DRESSAGE
An Introduction To RWYM Dressage Biomechanics- 1-4 day clinic; Focus on your position in the saddle to improve your horses’ way of going.
RWYM Dressage Biomechanics–1-4 day clinic; For riders with experience with RWYM. Each session is tailored to suit each individual.

Karen is able to teach or school your horse in her arena at Christon, alternately will travel to your location but regrettably she has to charge travel costs.
For private lessons and schooling of horses at Christon, Karen charges from £60.00.
Two or more sharing a private hour session costs from £35 each.
Discounts are available for 4 or more lessons at the same yard.
